Body Sensation Words

Emotions actually start in our bodies. These words are helpful to be curious about what might be arising. At times we need to ask anxiety to give us some space to notice what might be arising underneath. If anxiety is present, we often expect an emotion such as fear, anger or sadness to be underneath. However all core emotions can feel unsafe when we aren’t familiar with their sensations or don't feel safe. Emotions such as joy, excitement might be some of the emotions underneath the surface.
